Alabama adventure in a nutshell! Jackson, Wendy and I drove to Mobile from Jackson, Mississippi.  Mobile is the birthplace of Mardi Gras in North America. Touring the harbor, Jackson spotted the Carnival Cruise ship that was stranded with engine failure that left 4,200 people stranded at sea – very unfortunate.  Lunch at Wintzell’s Oyster House – they serve oysters as big as your hand. Jackson, not the biggest seafood fan, takes on the challenge and surprises me.  He has not eaten another since!
